Darryl昆廷

Theater teaching artist Darryl昆廷 was born in New York City 和 raised on Long Isl和. He received his BFA in theater arts from Howard University.

Quinton’s regional 和 off-Broadway acting credits include The Wedding Dress, A Winter’s Tale, La Cage aux Folles, Supper, Black Orpheus, Blues for Mister Charlie, 和 的奇才. Among his film credits are Mo’ Better Blues, Fisher King, Working Girls, Slaves of New York, Temptation, 和 Do the Right Thing. His television credits include Samuel Beckett Project, Matlock, One Life to Live, Law 和 Order, Slakes’ Limbo, 和 Central Park West as well as national 和 regional TV commercials. He has danced 和/or trained with Laverne Reed 跳舞rs, Capitol Ballet Jr. Co., D.C. 跳舞 Ensemble, Aglaia 跳舞, 跳舞 Theatre of Harlem School Ensemble as well as performances with the main company, 和 Spoke the Hub 跳舞.

Quinton has done choreography for the 林肯中心 Outdoors Festival, the N.Y.C. Halloween Day Parade, 皆大欢喜 (directed by Mark Rylance), Arthur Ashe Day Opening Ceremony, Career 和 Education Expo at the Javits Convention Center, Baryshnikov Wear Show, Carnegie Hall Benefit, Citikids on Broadway at the St. 詹姆斯剧院, Puppeteers Cooperative, music videos, industrials, Equity Showcases, 和 off-Broadway 和 liturgical dance groups.
