Juilliard Creative Associate 卡罗琳·肖 is a New York-based 歌手, 小提琴家, 作曲家, 和生产者 who performs in solo and collaborative projects. In 2013 she became the youngest recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for music for 八种声音的聚会, written for the Grammy-winning Roomful of Teeth, of which she is a member. Recent commissions include works for Renée Fleming with Inon Barnatan, Dawn Upshaw with So 打击乐器 and Gil Kalish, 圣管弦乐团. Luke’s with John Lithgow, 多佛四重奏, 宗旨, 十字路口, Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, Calidore四重奏, 布鲁克林的骑手, 巴尔的摩交响乐团, and Roomful of Teeth with A Far Cry. Getting to sing three-part harmony with Sara Bareilles and Ben Folds at the Kennedy Center was pretty much the bees’ knees and elbows. 肖 has studied at Rice, Yale, and Princeton, and she teaches at New York University.
